Wondering why the movie didn't use a 555 like most Hollywood films. It's not required, but it is standard practice.

What's fun is that the article notes more than one person is getting screwed by the number in the movie. They don't use an area code, just the 7 local digits.

Might just be a rumour in the mill, but the article might be right about more than one person getting calls:

I heard last night on E! that a minister in North Carolina was getting numerous random calls and was threatening to sue. Seems possible since there is no area code but: The E! report says the minister's name is Bruce. Is this purely coincidental? Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps someone involved in making the movie wanted to play a little joke.
