talked to a kid at a soccer game saturday; said he read it in 10 hours over three days and said it was good. this girl also seems to like it.

i read it in a day- but i took frequent breaks. i read the last one in 7 hours, non-stop. i thought this one was good, but i didn't like it as much as the third one.

This one definitely strikes me as the "Empire Strikes Back" of the series: the pivot point of the seven books, the one that will look great if the last two are as terrific as I think they could be. This one, while not perfect, sets us up for a big payoff. Hopefully.
