Exactly, thought it's rare that they cook up such inflammatory statistics as this.

What really gets my goat (and I see it often) is reporting on a poll in the style: '...The study also found that 60% could name onshore wind turbines as a source of such power, 35% knew about hydroelectricity, 34% mentioned offshore wind farms and 29% solar panels..'. as can be seen in The Guardian from Tuesday October 28, 2003. Why don't they save on column inches and present tabular and graphical results that we can interpret for ourselves?
