Everyone should read George Saunders' short stories - they are the funniest I have ever read. I defy you to read "Sea Oak" from Pastoralia and not laugh out loud vigorously and profusely, maybe even squirting coffee through your nasal passages and scalding the membranes quite badly, like I did.
