Very freaky: last night, before I even heard the news, I decided to listen to the Transformed Man (I have the mp3s). I listened to it all the way through. I've never listened to it all the way through!? While it is incredibly cringerific, if you view it as a comedy record rather than something intended to be even remotely "serious", it's not that bad. It's a good laugh.

The track Shatner did the voiceovers for on Folds's "Fear of Pop, Vol. 1" album is brilliant. Kazaa it up, folks -- it's called "In Love" and it's got Shatner explaining how the male of the species approaches a relationship while Folds sings the female's part in the background. It's hilarious, but not unintentionally. After you listen to that track, you''ll have to admit that this new album is something to look forward to.
