AppleSkinz/MacSkinz were selling decorative top panels for iBooks for a while, though they seem to be mostly offline at the moment.

As a not-particularly-rich semi-hipster with an iBook, my answer is definitely "no."

I have a 12" PBG4 that I recently had to replace the hard drive in (it's out of warranty now, and I hadn't purchased AppleCare during that first year, so I'm out in the cold).

I've been giving serious thought to how I can "personalize" my machine now that playing with it can't void anything. Etching seems like the obvious way to go, given that the whole thing is metal. If anyone has other ideas though, I'd love to hear them!
