BarterBee is a cross between Netflix and eBay, collective swapping of CDs and DVDs. Buzz is that the site may bee a little too heavy on the bee theme.
I've always wanted to do this. I used to be sad when other people launched web sites that I wanted to do, but now I'm happy. I wish it was free, of course.
So, kinda like the former Switchhouse? Seems to redirect to Nintari.net now. I missed that place.
Jason, thanks for mentioning us! I'll be sure to pass your too heavy on the bee theme comment on. It gave me a good chuckle, we'll see what the web designers say. :)
As a thank you, I took the liberty and requested a promotional code to allow your readers to try out the service free for 30 days. I would like to also note that games should be up in September!
Why not get all your co-workers and friends to join Mediachest?
the trial offer is great.
i think the search function needs to be more robust. like i would like to exclude anything that doesn't have the full artwork. also, the condition needs to be more detailed, probably.
i am not sure if the business model would work though, because of the upfront fee. and why use these "points" when they don't offer significant advantage over dollar signs?
I checked out Barterbee, but found a better site at www.sonicswap.com
They have a less complicated system for trading, and also give you the mailers, but the real difference is the integrated user community part. I get to see my friends add stuff to their collections.
Check out my collection at this link:
