If it's anything like the way they paint the iBooks, you could make a black one. Although, I'm not sure about the touch buttons/dial. I give it less than 2 months before a black one shows up on some Japanese site, courtesy of Slashdot.

I thought I saw somebody mention it here before, but that picture is of an iPod in a dark room to show off it's illumination powers. Sneaky, no?
