For the coders in the house: foo.jpg

Man, I love image searches. I had a little ASP+CSS dealie that made moving (literally, not emotionally) montages of random graphics, but it broke when I switched hosts and lost the use of a specific control. My weapon of choice then was multimedia.lycos.com

ks says:

"Wake up!" I said to my roommate, and pointed excitedly at the calendar. It was the the eighth of February, and on the schedule for today was our big trip to the reservoir.

We stopped for coffee on the way, making sure to get a receipt and ignoring the weird accordion-playing beggar who accosted us on the way out.

We picked up Professor Jenkins, who was a specialist in ancient Greek and Roman government. If you wanted to know something about a particular emperor, or a famous siege, or the Colossus of Rhodes, he could tell you about it.

"First, let's stop off at the cemetery," he said. "My father died forty years ago on my twelfth birthday, and I want to visit him and our Pilgrim ancestors."

We waited in the car, sharing a baked potato topped with broccoli, as Jenkins placed a balloon on his father's grave. He returned to the car, wiping away tears with a handkerchief. The fuel gauge showed the tank was three-quarters full, so off we went, clapping in rhythm to the stereo.
